Last year I began taking photos again. I bought a nice dSLR and loved the instant results I got but something with missing. I missed the feel, the quality of tones, the unpredictablily that you get with film. This blog is a documentary of my project to shoot at least one roll of film a week.

I love the daffodils, these are so pretty!
I love the photo at the top. I would be very cool as a painting.
Dear Amy, each day you surprise me with new beautiful photos. I love the quality of your shots. May I ask you which camera you have? I'm thinking about buying a more professional camera too soon.
Big hug.
Jürgen
That tree trunk photo is really wonderful!
Thank you all for the great comments. I'm so glad you like them.
Jürgen, for all the film photos here I have a Canon T70 35mm camera with the a 50mm lens. I also have a couple other cameras but, I haven't tried them yet. For digital I have a Pentax K200D with a couple of lens - a 50mm, a 18-55mm (kit lens) and a 50-200 telephoto zoom. The 50mm lens hasn't left my camera since I got it last month though.
Thanks for your information Amy, this helps me in choosing a camera too, it's fascinating taking good photos.
that 2nd photo is especially beautiful. i love how it looks like the flowers are raising their blooms and singing...or maybe i just haven't had enough coffee yet.
:)
